Rihanna Went Grocery Shopping in a DMX T-Shirt and No Pants

Rihanna went grocery shopping in a peak Rihanna look in West Hollywood yesterday. The singer and upcoming Super Bowl headliner stepped out in an oversized DMX T-shirt and slides. She wore no pants, just sunglasses to Bristol Farms.

While there, Rihanna spoke to paparazzi for the first time about her feelings performing at the big game. She didn’t offer much, saying just that “I’m nervous, but I’m excited.” When asked who would be joining her on stage—and if potentially her boyfriend and baby boy’s father A$AP Rocky would perform with her—Rihanna kept mum and ultimately only offered a teasing “maybe” before flashing a peace sign and getting in her car.

Rihanna has kept largely silent about her relationship with Rocky along with their son, who she gave birth to in May. Rihanna did offer a little insight into her and Rocky’s romance in her Vogue interview released in April.

They were longtime friends before romantic partners. “People don’t get out of the friend zone very easily with me,” she started. “And I certainly took a while to get over how much I know him and how much he knows me, because we also know how much trouble we can land each other in.”

They quarantined together and became family then. “There’s no pretentious my-brand-your-brand bullshit [with him], it’s just us living,” she said. “I just feel like I can do any part of life by his side.”

“What I love the most about us?” Rihanna added “Transparency with everything: how we’re feeling, what our goals are, what our fears and insecurities are. The vulnerability to be able to say what you feel about each other.”
