Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have been a public couple since July 2019—July 4, to be exact. They’ve been friends for years, but since they started showing up hugging and kissing all over the place this year, it’s pretty clear that they’ve taken things up a few levels.
On Friday night, the two went on a holiday date at Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen in Toronto, where they were seen getting hot and heavy with the PDA. TMZ got a video of the two getting pretty heavy into making out (tongues out and everything). Per the website, they stayed for more than two hours.
The couple was likely celebrating the chance to spend some time together without Mendes having to rush off on “Shawn Mendes: The Tour,” which wrapped on December 21 in Mexico City at Palacio de los Deportes.
Cabello, who performed the couples’ song, “Señorita,” with Mendes at the 2019 VMAs in a steamy show of affection, told SiriusXM’s Hits 1 in Hollywood hosts Tony Fly and Symon a bit about her relationship earlier this month. When asked what a normal day is like for her and Mendes, she got pretty candid.
“Making out is a lot of it … no, I’m kidding … no, I’m not.” She added, “When we are able to hang out … it goes by so fast. We are going to binge-watch ‘Friends.’ We started the first episode, then he had to go on tour.”
