Selena Gomez kindly gave her Instagram followers a close look at her adorable new dog Winnie’s life as her companion yesterday. The singer documented a good part of their Saturday together on her Instagram Story. Gomez is back to being relatively active on Instagram now that she has released new music.

Gomez’s dog got to go with her to Interscope Records, her music label’s office. The dog got to run around, beg for Gomez to pick him up, and later on, Gomez made the pup dance to her new single “Look at Her Now.” Winnie was a cute, willing-enough participant:

Gomez has shared two shots of Winnie on her Instagram before, but this is the most extensive look she has given of her pet:

Gomez’s dog first appeared on Instagram earlier this summer when Anna Collins shared a photo of Winnie and Gomez chilling with her and her dog Freddy in June.

Fan account TheSelenaRundown pointed out that the first time Winnie was ever publicly seen with Gomez was at Coachella in April:

Gomez spoke to Ryan Seacrest while promoting her singles “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now” and explained why she took time away from the limelight after her breakup with Justin Bieber (and his moving on very publicly with Hailey Baldwin). She needed to recover from that heartbreak and focus on taking care of herself in private before talking about those feelings publicly.

“It’s all very real to me, and I’m sure it’s just entertainment for other people, but I just—I think I had become numb to it, and it would be stupid of me if I didn’t acknowledge what I had felt because it would be inauthentic, and that’s everything I claim to be and do [being authentic],” she said. “I know there are thousands of people, men and women, who have felt this feeling, and it’s extremely real, and on top of the social media and everything, it doesn’t matter if you’re in my position or if you’re in someone’s because you’re always going to somehow find this negative space. It’s just that’s what—that’s why I have to be careful, and I just have to take steps back and just focus on what I’m doing and no one else.”
