A few of the Black men of the concert dance world decided to take on the #DontRushChallenge, and the video compilation turned out so beautifully. Of course we are mesmerized by their flexibility, strength, balance, and grace, but really it’s their infectious smiles and joy of dancing that is exploding with the positivity we need right now. From ballet dancers to breakdancers, feast your eyes on their twirls, leaps, and happy facial expressions — you’ll probably want to watch and rewatch!
With dance companies and theaters shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic, dancers are out of work for the foreseeable future. This video hopes to bring awareness to those artists who may be struggling during this difficult time.
