You might want to give your bank a heads up now…
Listen up, fashion lovers – there’s soon to be another Canadian e-commerce site to add to your roster of favourites as Nordstrom Canada is launching its own localized e-commerce website, FASHION can exclusively reveal.
Launching this spring, the site has been tailor-made for the store’s Canadian clients. In addition to now having easy access to a roster of international brands at your fingertips, shopping on the Canadian site will include free standard shipping and returns, in-store online order pickup and – the best part, if you ask us – duty-free purchases in Canadian dollars.
Speaking with FASHION about the launch, Michelle Haggard, the senior vice president of Nordstrom Canada, said, “With the launch of Nordstrom.ca, we’re excited to expand our services to Canadian customers to offer more way for them to shop with us.” At this time, the company isn’t communicating on the brand line-up to be offered on the Canadian site.
From today, you can head to Nordstrom.ca for updates and to sign up to the newsletter so that you’re first in line when the site goes live.
The news follows last week’s announcement that the American retailer will stock Kim Kardashian West’s shapewear/loungewear/everythingwear line SKIMS from February 5. It was revealed at the time of the announcement that Canada is to be the only international shipping destination when it launches.
