Best dressed: Kerry Washington
When it comes to the best dress of the night, IT IS HANDLED! Hands down, the honour goes to Kerry Washington. She’s known for taking a risk on the carpet while still remaining classic, and her seriously scandalous Altuzarra blazer and skirt fit the bill. It’s SO sexy and unexpected for the actor, but also makes me feel like I could and should rock something similar? Bookmarking for my next bday, for sure. —Katherine Singh, assistant editor

Best dressed: Phoebe Waller-Bridge
I’m a sucker for a good suit, and the red carpet-worthy details on this Ralph & Russo design, like the fabric’s metallic weave and the lace trim, make it a standout. Plus, I love that the plunging neckline is a subtle, sexy nod to Fleabag’s famous black jumpsuit. Billy Porter went and invented his own ballroom category for the Golden Globes in this custom Alex Vinash creation: Blaque Swan. When it comes to red carpet fashion, Cate Blanchett’s set a high bar for herself. She’s a perennial fave, but this canary yellow Mary Katrantzou was a miss—at least by her own standards.
